If you go down to the Clock Tower in Monappagutta, you will find our shop right there. We sell all sorts of plastic goods. It’s things like buckets, stools, storage bins, and smaller items for the kitchen. The shop is quite packed, so you have to watch your step when you walk in. We don’t have a lot of space, but we try to keep a variety of colors and sizes. Being near the Clock Tower means it’s always busy with people walking past. We get a lot of locals who just need something quick for their house. We’ve been here for a good number of years and the shop hasn't changed much in that time. We still use a simple notebook for our sales and we don't have a computer system. It’s just easier that way for us. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty with the windows open to the street, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We spend our days chatting with the neighbors and helping customers find the right size tub or container. We don't do any big promotions. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for people to come in. It’s a simple business and we like it that way. We aren't trying to do anything fancy here, just selling everyday items that people actually use. Most of the stuff we have is just stacked up on shelves and you have to ask us where things are. It’s just a normal neighborhood shop.
