Radhika Hallow Bricks

You will find our brickyard out at H. No;2-4 in Thandr Village, which is part of the Veldanda Mandal district. It is a very rural area, so there is plenty of space for what we do. We make hollow bricks right here on the site. It is a very physical job that involves a lot of sand, cement, and water. We spend the whole day outside, usually covered in some kind of dust or mud from the mixing process. The sun can be quite brutal in this part of the district, so we try to get the heavy lifting done early in the day if we can. The hollow bricks sit out in rows to dry once they are molded. We don't have an office in the traditional sense; we just have a small shed where we keep the records and take a break for lunch. People from the village and nearby areas come to us when they are building a new wall or a small house. We load the bricks onto tractors or trucks for delivery. It is loud and dirty work, but there is something good about seeing a finished stack of bricks ready to go. We do not have a website or anything like that. We just rely on people knowing we are here in Thandr Village. It is just a plain, honest way to make a living and we take pride in the strength of what we make.
