Giri Arts & Screens

We are located at Shop Number 6 in the Fazal Complex. It is right beside the Har Hara Function Hall in New Town, which means it gets very loud whenever there is a wedding or a big party happening next door. At Giri Arts & Screens, we spend our hours working with screens and ink. You can usually smell the paint when you walk in. The shop isn’t very big, so we have to be careful where we set things down to dry. If you move too fast, you might bump into a frame. Most of our days are spent prepping the screens or cleaning them after a long run of printing. It is a bit messy, and our hands usually have some ink stains on them by the end of the shift. We don’t have a fancy showroom; it’s mostly just the work area and a small desk for taking notes. In New Town, things are changing fast, but our little corner in Fazal Complex stays pretty much the same. We like the rhythm of the work here. Sometimes a customer comes in with a rough idea and we have to figure out how to make it work on the screen. It takes some patience and a bit of trial and error. We just do the work and try to keep things moving along steadily.
