G Pooja Poultry Farms

Down at Sy. No. 402 in Kakunoor, you’ll find G Pooja Poultry Farms. It’s out in the Keshampet area, part of Mahabubnagar District. It’s a lot of work running a farm like this. The birds need feeding at all hours and there is always cleaning to do. We spend a lot of time out in the sheds. The ground is dusty mostly, especially when the trucks come in. It’s not a glamorous job. You get dirt under your fingernails and stay on your feet all day. We’ve been operating in Kakunoor for some time now. The neighbors know us by the sound of the chickens. Sometimes the heat in Mahabubnagar gets really intense, so we have to watch the water levels closely. We aren't trying to be some massive corporation. It’s just G Pooja Poultry Farms, doing what we do every day. The work is repetitive but it has its own rhythm. We load the crates, check the fences, and make sure everything is ticking along. You won’t find any fancy reception area here. Just the farm buildings and the land around Sy. No. 402. It's practical work for practical people. Most of us grew up around here so we are used to the pace of life in Keshampet. It suits us just fine to stay busy with the livestock and the daily chores. The farm is our main focus and it keeps us occupied from sunrise to sunset without many breaks in between.
