We are over here at the terminal in Timmapur, Kothur. If you've ever tried to find us at Sy No 141/7 or the other plots like 132 through 142, you know it is a pretty big area to cover. It gets quite busy with all the moving parts involved in a multimodal setup. Most days we are just focused on keeping things moving along the tracks and the roads without too much of a pileup. It’s not a fancy office job by any means. We spend a lot of time out in the yard or dealing with the paperwork that comes with shifting containers and freight back and forth. Sometimes the weather makes things a bit tricky, especially when it rains heavy and the ground gets soft, but that is just part of the job here. We handle the heavy lifting and the logistics side of things so that the goods actually get to where they are supposed to go. It’s practical work. There are no big speeches about what we do, just a lot of coordination between the trucks and the trains. We make sure the gates are manned and the scheduling stays as on track as possible given how things go in this industry.
