Avuta Shanthamma

My name is Avuta Shanthamma and my place is at H. No. 2-22 in Muthireddypally. This is a small village in the Kodair Mandal and it is where I have spent most of my life. I run my small business activities right from this house. It is nothing fancy, just a room where I keep my things and meet people from the village. Life here moves a bit slower than in the big towns. I handle various local tasks and help people out with what they need in the neighborhood. My house is easy to find because of the big tree out front. I don't have any employees or a big sign on the door. Everyone in Muthireddypally knows where I live. I spend my time keeping track of my small accounts and making sure everything is in order. Sometimes I have to travel to the mandal headquarters for paperwork, but mostly I am here. The weather can be very dry and hot, so we usually do our main work in the early mornings or late evenings. I don't use any marketing or talk big about what I do. It is just a way to earn a living and help the community stay together. My family has been in this district for generations. We just take each day as it comes and do the best we can with what we have. It is a quiet and simple existence.
