Anumala Ravi Sheker

My place is located at 1-1-9/1/A in New Motinagar. It’s a quiet enough street most days, though the mornings can get a bit hectic with people heading to work. I’ve been working out of this space for quite a while now. It’s not a massive warehouse, just a decent-sized room where I keep everything I need for the business. I usually work alone, but sometimes my cousin comes by to help when things get piled up. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but it doesn't affect the work. I have a desk near the window so I can see who is coming up the path. New Motinagar has changed a lot since I first moved in here. There are more houses now and fewer empty lots. I don't really have a big sign out front, just a small one with the name on it. Most of my clients are people I’ve known for years or their friends. I keep a notebook for all my appointments and notes. It's easier than using a phone for everything. I try to stay organized, but sometimes the desk gets covered in mail. It’s a modest way to make a living. I open up around ten and usually close when the sun goes down. It’s a steady routine that works for me. If someone stops by and I'm not here, they just leave a note under the door.
