Angoth Mannem is based at 7-82 in Peddahemla Thanda. This is out in the Gangaram village area, part of the Bijinepally Mandal. It’s a very local spot, and the surroundings are mostly rural. The office or workspace we have at 7-82 is pretty basic. It has sturdy walls and a roof that keeps the rain out, which is what matters most during the monsoon season. We don't have a lot of high-tech gadgets or modern office furniture. Most of what we use is practical and has been repaired more than once over the years. The Thanda is a close-knit place, so everyone knows when we are open and what we are doing. In Gangaram village, news travels by word of mouth more than anything else. We spend our time managing the day-to-day requirements of the business without a lot of complicated planning. The drive or walk into the Bijinepally Mandal can be long depending on the road conditions, but we are used to it by now. The air is cleaner out here than in the district center, though it gets very dusty in the summer months. We keep the ledger books on a shelf and use a small wooden desk for all the writing. It is a humble operation, but it is ours, and we have been running it from this same spot for quite some time now without needing to change much about how we work. We usually have a bit of tea with the locals who stop by to say hello in the morning.
