Ameenulla Photo Studio

Ameenulla Photo Studio is located at 1-3-38 in Rajendra Nagar. It’s a simple shop that we’ve run in Mahabubnagar for quite some time. The front has a few framed pictures of weddings and kids to show what we can do. Inside, there’s a small area with a backdrop and a couple of lights that we move around depending on who is sitting for a portrait. We spend a lot of time sitting at the computer editing out red eyes or fixing the lighting on a family photo. It’s usually quiet until the school season starts and everyone needs passport photos for their forms. Then we have a line out the door and the printer doesn't get a break. The studio isn't very large, so if a big family comes in, it gets crowded pretty fast. We have a drawer full of old memory cards and film rolls from years ago that we keep meaning to sort through. People in the neighborhood stop by just to chat sometimes while we are working on a print. We don't have fancy digital displays outside, just the old sign that's been there since we opened. The floor is a bit worn from people walking in and out, but the camera still works fine and the prints come out clear. It’s a local business where we know most of our customers by their first names when they walk through the door.
