You can find us at Gat No. 547/2.B, which is part of the Jalan Warehouse complex. It’s a bit out of the way, so it’s not the kind of place you just stumble upon. We run Ensigns Health Care Pvt.Ltd. from here. We are in the health care business. Our space is essentially a large warehouse with a small section partitioned off for our desks. It’s a very practical environment. We don’t have any decorations or fancy carpets. The walls are just the same metal and brick as the rest of the warehouse. We spend a lot of our time checking on stock and making sure the supplies are stored properly. It’s a lot of walking back and forth on the concrete floors. During the monsoon, the sound of the rain on the tin roof is so loud we can hardly hear each other talk. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone to make us look more important than we are. We’re just a small team handling health care products. We usually eat our lunch together at a small table in the corner. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish inventory, and it gets pretty quiet out here once the other warehouses close up. We don’t have a lot of corporate rules; we just focus on getting the work done. It’s a simple, hardworking atmosphere where we just try to stay on top of all the boxes and paperwork that come our way.
