If you head down Bk Road toward Kalyagate in Magadi, you will find our spot. We are right there in the Ramanagar area. It is a busy part of town with lots of trucks moving in and out all day long. We mostly deal with trading different items that people need for their shops or homes nearby. The building is not anything special to look at, just a solid place to store things and talk to the people who come by. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or talking to drivers who are dropping stuff off at the loading dock. It gets pretty loud with the traffic outside and the heavy loading going on. We have to be very careful with the counts because any mistake costs us money. Sometimes we are moving heavy boxes for hours and other times it is just doing boring paperwork at the table. Ramanagar is a good place for this kind of work because of the main roads. We know most of the other shop owners around the Kalyagate area. Sometimes we grab tea from the small stall nearby when things quiet down for a few minutes. We do not use any high-tech systems, just some notebooks and a good memory for who needs what. The shutters go up early and do not come down until the sun is long gone. It is tiring work but it is what we know how to do. We just focus on getting goods moved.
