You can find us at No. 5 on Salavakkam Road, over in the Meyyur Post area of Kanchipuram district. It is a bit of a drive out here, but it is quiet and gives us plenty of space for the stone. We have been operating as Indiana Stone Ltd for a while now. Most of our days are spent loading and unloading trucks. The road gets a bit busy with all the transport, but that is to be expected when you are dealing with heavy materials. We focus on stone because that is what we know best. We aren't architects or designers; we just supply the raw material that goes into people's homes and buildings. Some of the pieces we get are really interesting, with different veins and spots, and it’s always nice to see them go to a good project. We have a small office where we handle the paperwork, but you’ll usually find us out in the yard instead. It gets hot out there in Kanchipuram, so we try to get the heavy lifting done early. We don't have a big marketing department or a flashy website. We just rely on the fact that we have been here for a long time and people know we are reliable enough. It’s honest work, and it keeps the local guys employed. If you are ever out on Salavakkam Road, you’ll see our stacks of stone from the street. That’s us, just keeping busy with the rocks.
