Vsj Hospital

We are located right at No 174 East Veli Street in Madurai City. It’s a busy part of the city and there’s always something going on outside our front door. The street is narrow and you have to be careful when you’re parking nearby. Inside the hospital it’s a different world from the noisy street. We have several rooms set up for patients and the hallway is usually lined with people waiting their turn. The building has been here for a long time and you can tell by the way the stairs are worn down in the middle. We don’t have a big marketing team or anyone to write fancy things about us. It’s just us the staff and the people who come in for help. We spend our days checking charts and making sure the supplies are stocked up in the cabinets. Sometimes the air conditioning struggles a bit in the Madurai heat but we try to keep it comfortable for everyone sitting in the lobby. The nurses are usually running around with clipboards and there’s always a bit of chatter near the main desk. It isn’t a perfect place but it’s our place and we put in the hours every single day. Most people who come here are from the local area and we’ve gotten to know many families over the years. It’s just a regular hospital doing regular work on East Veli Street and that’s fine with us.
