Asheela Graphics

We’re over on 86 -3 Pavali Road in Virudhunagar. Asheela Graphics is basically a printing and design shop that we started ourselves. We have a few computers and some printing machines that take up most of the floor space. It’s usually pretty loud when the big printers are running, so we have to shout a bit to be heard. We do things like wedding cards, banners, and small flyers for the local shops in the area. It’s not high-end art or anything, just practical graphics that people need for their businesses or family events. Virudhunagar is a busy town and Pavali Road sees a lot of traffic during the day. We get people dropping in all day with different ideas for their projects. Sometimes their files aren't ready or they don't really know what they want yet, so we spend a lot of time fixing things up for them on the screen. We aren't a big agency with designers in suits and fancy portfolios. We’re just here in our workshop getting ink on our hands and making sure the colors look okay before things go out. The light in the shop isn't great, but we make it work with a few extra lamps. We’ve been at this for a few years now and have a rhythm to how we do things every day. We don't have a fancy website to show off. Usually, people just see our work around town and come in to ask for help.
