Tvs Logistics is based at 37 Lnp Agraharam in the Simmakkal area of Madurai. This is an old part of the city, so the streets are narrow and it can be a real challenge for the bigger vehicles to get in and out sometimes. Our office is in an older building that has a lot of character, though it might not be the most modern place you have ever seen. We handle a lot of logistics work from here, which mostly involves a lot of phone calls and keeping track of inventory on our systems. The air smells like the city outside—a mix of spices and exhaust—and it’s always quite lively around Simmakkal. We have a small crew here, and we usually eat our lunch together at the back desk when we have a spare moment. There is no corporate vibe at all; it’s more like a small local office where everyone knows what needs to be done. We deal with all sorts of cargo, and because we are in Madurai, we see a lot of local products moving through. The floors are a bit worn down from years of moving crates around, and the lights flicker occasionally, but we don't let that stop us. We just focus on getting the details right so that nothing gets lost in transit. It’s honest, everyday work in a very traditional part of town, and we’ve been part of this neighborhood for a long time now.
