Today Fashion

You can find us at Today Fashion, located right at the 1st Stop on Kulamangalam Road in the Goripalayam area of Madurai. We have been here for a while. It’s a busy spot with lots of traffic and people moving about. We focus on clothes, mostly everyday wear that people in the neighborhood need. Our shop isn't like those big malls. It’s a bit cramped because we try to keep a lot of stock on the shelves. Sometimes the piles of fabric get a bit messy, but we know where everything is. We have a few tailors who work with us in the back. You can hear the sewing machines humming all day long. Madurai is hot, so we try to keep the place as cool as possible for the customers, though the ceiling fans can only do so much. We don't have a big corporate team. It’s just us and a couple of helpers. We talk to our customers, hear what they like, and try to find things that fit them. Sometimes we make mistakes with an order, and we have to fix it. That's just how it goes. We don't use any fancy language to describe our clothes. They are just good, honest garments for regular people. People stop by on their way home from work to see what is new. It’s a friendly place where we know many of our regulars by name. We just try to keep things simple and useful.
