Our office is right on East Pattamar Street, here in Madurai. If you have ever been down this way, you know the street is usually packed with people and vehicles from morning until late evening. It is quite a lively place to work. Tiffny Exports And Imports Llp is located at No.2, and we have been handling goods going out and coming in for some time now. It’s not a glamorous job, mostly just managing lots of paperwork and making sure the boxes are where they should be. The office has a few old desks and some tall cabinets full of files. On most days, the heat in Madurai is pretty intense, so we keep the ceiling fans going all day long. Sometimes we grab tea from the stall just around the corner when the afternoon slump hits. We deal with various types of trade, and it can get stressful when a container is stuck somewhere or the customs forms aren't clearing fast enough. We don't have a big corporate team, just a handful of us trying to keep everything organized. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking emails back and forth with people in different time zones. We don’t really do much advertising because our work usually comes from folks who know us already. It is just honest work, day in and day out, making sure the trade keeps moving through the city. We like being part of the Madurai business community.
