Swastik Pipes

Swastik Pipes has its home at 111B, South Mart Street. It is a straightforward shop where we deal mostly with piping and related hardware. South Mart Street is a good location for us because people know this area for construction supplies. The shop itself is packed from floor to ceiling with different types of pipes. It can be a bit of a maze inside if you don't know where things are kept. We have been here for a long time, and the building shows a bit of age, but it’s sturdy. We don't spend money on fancy displays or bright lights. Most of our customers are plumbers or local contractors who just want to get their parts and get back to their job sites. We spend a lot of time measuring and cutting pieces to the right length. It’s a hands-on kind of business. My hands are usually a bit dirty from the warehouse work, but that’s just part of the day. We don't really have a big staff, just a couple of guys who know the inventory well. Sometimes we sit on the stools out front when things are quiet and watch the traffic go by on South Mart Street. We aren't trying to change the world; we are just making sure people have the pipes they need for their houses. It’s a decent way to make a living and we have been doing it this way for years.
