Sterlite Industries India Limited

We are based out of 1/114, East Street in No.1 Kodimangalam. It’s near the Ellis Nagar Post in Madurai. Sterlite Industries India Limited has this branch to look after things in this part of the state. Madurai is an old city with a lot of character, and our area is no different. The office is a simple place. We don't have any of those modern open-plan layouts you see on TV. It is just rooms with desks and plenty of work to do. We deal with the day-to-day tasks that keep the company going. It’s mostly local guys working here. We talk about the local cricket scores or what’s happening in the town while we work. It’s not a high-pressure corporate environment, just a steady pace. We don't bother with marketing or trying to sound impressive. We are just here to do a job. The building itself has seen better days, but it’s sturdy and it keeps the rain out. We’ve got all the essentials we need. Sometimes the mail takes a while to get here, but we make it work. It’s a very grounded way of doing business. If you’re heading towards Ellis Nagar, you might pass by us on East Street. We’ve been here a while and plan to stay for the foreseeable future. It’s just a normal office for normal people working for Sterlite.
