Sri Vetri Travel & Tours

We have been here at No 1 Yanaikkal as Sri Vetri Travel & Tours for a long time now. If you know Madurai Bazaar, you know how busy it gets around Somasundra Puram Agraharam. It is not a quiet place at all. Most days, we just deal with the heat and the constant noise of the traffic passing by our front door. The shop isn't anything special to look at, just a regular spot where we keep our logs and answer the phone when it rings. People stop in because they are already in the bazaar doing their shopping. We spend a lot of time just sitting here, watching the crowds go by. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit out on the step for a bit of air. It gets dusty, especially in the afternoons. Our neighbors have been around for years too, so we all know each other well. You can find us right near the main intersection where everything happens. We don't have fancy office furniture or anything like that. Just some old desks and a calendar on the wall that we probably forgot to turn. It is a simple way of working. Most people who come here are looking for a way to get from one place to another without too much trouble. We do what we can with the vehicles we have available at the time. It is just a local business in a very old part of town.
