Sri Velanan Traders

Sri Velanan Traders is located over in the TNHB Colony area of Ellis Nagar, right here in Madurai-10. If you know the T.28 block, that is where we are. It’s a busy spot most of the time. We get quite a bit of traffic coming through because of the colony nearby. Running a trading business means the phone rings a lot and there are always crates or boxes being moved around. It gets quite hot in Madurai, so we usually have the fans going full blast in the afternoons. Some days are more chaotic than others, especially when a delivery shows up late. We don’t really have a big corporate team, just a few of us making sure the stock is right and the numbers add up. The shopfront isn't anything special to look at, just a regular place where we get the work done. You can usually find one of us sitting at the main desk dealing with some ledger or talking to a regular. We’ve been at this address for a while now, so the neighbors know us. It is just a local business trying to stay organized in the middle of all the noise. We don’t really do fancy meetings or anything. We just open the shutters in the morning and see what the day brings us. It is a living. We try to keep the place tidy, but with items coming in and out, it is hard to keep it perfect.
