Sri Meenakshi Stores

If you find yourself over in Vilacheri, you’ve probably passed by our spot at 89 Ep Main Road. Sri Meenakshi Stores isn’t a massive warehouse or anything, just a local shop where we keep the daily essentials. We open up pretty early because people around here need things before they head off to work or start their day. The shelves are packed pretty tight, and sometimes it takes a second to find exactly what you’re looking for, but we’re usually around to point you in the right direction. It gets busy in the evenings when everyone is heading home, so it can be a bit noisy in here. We don't have a big corporate team; it's just us taking care of the stock and making sure things are available. The sign outside has seen better days, and the paint is peeling a bit, but inside we’ve got what matters. Dealing with the heat in the afternoons can be a bit much, but the fans keep things moving. We’ve known some of our customers for years, and it's nice to see the same people coming in every week. It’s just a regular part of the neighborhood. We don’t do anything special, just keep the store running day in and day out. That's pretty much the whole story of this place on the main road.
