Sri Lakshmi Baniyan World

You can find us over on 50 Feet Road in Sellur. It’s a pretty well-known spot in this part of town. At Sri Lakshmi Baniyan World, we deal mostly with clothes, specifically baniyans and such. The shop is usually packed with bundles and boxes stacked up high. Sometimes it’s hard to find a place to sit because there’s so much stock around. The road outside is always moving, with bikes and buses going past all day long. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going at full speed. We’ve been in Sellur for a good while and most of the locals know where we are. We don't really do much in terms of fancy displays. We just put the stuff out where people can see it and talk to whoever comes in. It’s a lot of folding and unfolding clothes every day to show people the sizes. My cousin helps out on the weekends when it gets extra busy. We don't have a big team or anything, just a few of us who know the inventory. Usually, we spend the mornings checking what we need to restock and the evenings settling the accounts. It’s a simple business and we like it that way. We don’t try to be anything we’re not. It’s just about selling good everyday wear to people who need it without any big fuss or complicated talk.
