Our shop is located on Town Hall Road, specifically at New No 150. Some of the older locals still call it No 58 because that was the old number. We are just off West Masi Street and right opposite the railway station. Being across from the station means we see a lot of travelers with their big suitcases looking a bit lost. It’s a busy spot in Madurai 625001. The noise from the trains and the announcements carries over here all day long. We have a lot of different things shoved into our shelves, and sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what someone is looking for. It’s a bit messy, I’ll admit that. We haven't changed the layout in years because we know where everything is. The floor is a bit worn down from all the feet walking over it, but it’s sturdy. I usually have my tea while watching the commuters rush to catch their morning trains. It’s a regular routine for us. We don’t have any fancy mission or anything like that, we just open up and wait for the day to start. The traffic on Town Hall Road can be a nightmare in the evenings, but we just stay inside and keep working. It’s just me and the staff making sure things get done.
