B. R. K. Traders

B. R. K. Traders is located at No. 61 South Veli Veethi. It’s a busy street, especially with the hospital so close by. You can always hear the traffic and people talking outside. Our shop is quite small and the shelves are usually packed right to the ceiling with all sorts of things. Sometimes it’s a bit of a squeeze to get through the aisles if we have a big delivery. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know where everything is hidden. If someone asks for something specific, it might take a minute to find it under a pile of boxes in the back. We open early and stay open until the street starts to get quiet at night. It’s not the most modern place, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it’s home for us. We’ve got an old stool near the counter where we sit when things finally slow down. The fan overhead makes a clicking sound that we’ve stopped noticing after all these years. We deal with all kinds of people coming in from the hospital area or just walking by. It’s honest work and we don’t try to make it seem like more than it is. We buy things, we sell things, and we try to keep the books balanced. Most days are just about managing the stock and talking to the regulars who stop in to say hello.
