Sms Clinical Lab Xray & Ecg

This lab is located on Bypass Road, specifically in the SS Colony area, which is part of the EB Colony. We have an interesting situation with our address because we are at New No 2 but the older signs still say Old No 19. It confuses a few people the first time they try to find us. We handle a lot of different things here like X-rays and ECGs. The equipment takes up most of the space, so it can feel a bit crowded when more than three people are waiting. The Bypass Road is always busy with vehicles moving fast, so it’s a bit of a contrast once you step inside where it’s quieter. We’ve tried to make the waiting area comfortable with some old magazines and a water cooler that hums a bit too loudly. The staff here has been together for a while, so we have a routine down for taking samples and getting the machines ready. We aren't a big diagnostic chain with fancy uniforms. We just wear our regular lab coats and get on with the work. The walls are a plain off-white, and the floor shows some wear from all the people coming in and out over the years. It’s a straightforward operation. We open early so people can get their tests done before they head to their jobs. It’s just a local lab serving the folks around SS Colony without any of that corporate polish.
