It’s a typical Madurai neighborhood with a lot of life and a bit of dust. Our office is a straightforward place. We have some whiteboards where we track the project timelines and a few desks for the office staff. It is not the kind of place with a lobby or a receptionist. Usually, you just walk in and see someone working on a laptop or talking on the phone to a foreman. The weather in Madurai is almost always hot, so we spend a lot of time making sure the fans are working right. We have a small area in the back where we keep some of the smaller tools and gear. It is a very hands-on environment. We have been at this location for a bit and the locals know us by now. There is a lot of back and forth between the office and the different sites around Tamil Nadu. We don't worry about having the newest computers or matching furniture. As long as the work gets recorded and the people get paid on time, we are happy. It is a simple, no-nonsense way to run things. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with the local infrastructure tasks. Sometimes we share a meal in the office when things get particularly hectic.
