Our place is down in Tirumangalam, specifically on 2nd Street in Jawahar Nagar. If you are driving through Madurai district, it’s not too hard to find us, though the street can get a bit tight if someone parks a big truck in the wrong spot. We’ve been at number 63 for a good while now. It’s a simple setup. We handle different things here, mostly whatever the local folks need. The weather gets really hot in the afternoons, so we usually keep the shutters halfway down to stay cool. There’s a small tea stall just around the corner where we usually take our breaks. The tea stall has the best vada around, which helps when the morning gets long. We also have a small radio playing in the background most days to keep us going. Most of the people working here are from the nearby villages. We aren't trying to be some big fancy corporation. We just open up in the morning, do our work, and head home when the sun sets. The building itself has seen better days, maybe needs a fresh coat of paint, but it works for us. We know almost everyone on the street by name. It’s that kind of neighborhood. If you come by, you’ll probably see us sorting through stuff near the entrance. We don't really do the whole professional suit and tie thing. It’s just dusty shirts and practical shoes.
