Safe Tech

We are located on the third floor of a building in the L.I.G Colony area of K.K. Nagar. It’s a bit of a climb since there’s no lift, but we’re used to it by now. Safe Tech isn’t a large office with glass walls; it’s more of a lived-in space where we keep our tools and equipment on metal racks at No : 3. The walls are painted a dull off-white and have a few marks where we’ve bumped into them with boxes. You can see the rooftops of the colony from our balcony, and there’s always laundry hanging out somewhere. We spend most of our hours fixing things or testing out new gear at the long wooden workbench. It gets pretty loud when the school nearby lets out, and the traffic on the main road never really stops. We usually have a pot of tea going in the small kitchen area at the back. It’s mostly just a few of us here, and we don’t wear uniforms or anything like that. The floor is tiled but some of them are cracked from when we dropped a heavy crate last year. We don’t have a big sign out front, just a small plate near the door. It’s a quiet way to make a living, tucked away on the third floor. We keep the windows open for the breeze, though it brings in a lot of street noise and plenty of dust.
