Royal Cctv System is situated at 13, Kakathoppu Street. We are very close to the Meenakshi Amman Temple, so there is always a lot of energy and people around. You can hear the temple bells sometimes and the constant hum of the crowds. Being in such an old part of the city means the streets are narrow and it can get quite hot in the afternoons. Our shop is a simple place where we keep our inventory of cameras and recorders. We spend our time testing equipment and talking to people who walk in from the street. It’s a lot of manual work, climbing ladders and pulling cables through old buildings. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything, just the name on the door. The street is busy from early morning until late at night. We’ve been here long enough that the local tea sellers and shopkeepers are all familiar faces. It’s a practical business. We don’t use big words or try to act like a giant corporation. We’re just local people who know how to set up a security system. Sometimes it’s hard to get a van down the street because of the devotees and the shops, so we do a lot of walking. The air smells like incense and street food most days. It’s a unique place to work, even if the office itself is just plain walls and metal shelves full of tech. We just keep things moving.
