Ramya Hospital

We are located at No. 574 on Periyakulam Road, and this building has been Ramya Hospital for a good number of years. It started out small and we just kept going day by day. This road gets pretty busy with buses and trucks passing through, so there is always a bit of dust and noise outside our front door. Inside, we try to keep things as quiet as possible so patients can actually get some rest. It’s not a five-star hotel, it’s a place where people come when they aren’t feeling well. We have a few wards and some basic rooms. The paint might be peeling a little in the corner of the hallway, but the floors are scrubbed every morning. Most of our staff lives nearby, so they walk or take the cycle to get here. We see a lot of people from the surrounding villages who come into town for their checkups. It’s a practical place. We don’t have those fancy automated coffee machines or a big lobby with glass walls. We have benches and a small desk where you sign in. It gets hot in the afternoons, but we have enough fans to keep the air from getting too still. People know us by name around here. It’s just how things are on Periyakulam Road. We handle whatever comes through the door as best as we can with what we have.
