Raam Exports

Our office is located at 46, Bharathi Ula Road, right in the First Street area of Race Course. It’s a nice part of town, pretty quiet compared to the main markets. Raam Exports has been running from this spot for a while. We handle a lot of paperwork and shipments every day. It’s mostly about coordinating between the suppliers and the people waiting for their goods overseas. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing. We have a small team here. We spend a lot of time on the computer checking schedules and talking to truck drivers. It’s not always smooth. Containers get delayed, or the weather causes trouble at the port, but we just deal with it as it comes. We aren't some massive corporation with hundreds of employees. We’re just a local outfit trying to make sure everything gets where it needs to go. Sometimes we stay late when a big shipment is moving. My desk is usually covered in folders and tea cups. We know the people around here well. If you come by the office, you’ll probably see us arguing over a logistics sheet or drinking coffee. It’s just how we operate. We don’t have fancy brochures. We just talk to people and get the job done. The neighborhood is good, and being in the Race Course area makes it easy for our partners to visit. It’s a lot of work but we like the routine of it.
