R R Mission Hospital

R R Mission Hospital is situated at number 52 A on Alagarkovil Road out in Melur. It is a busy road and the hospital is a place that stays active pretty much around the clock. We deal with all sorts of medical stuff here, from people coming in with a fever to more serious things that require staying in a bed for a few days. The building itself has been here for a long time and has seen a lot of changes in the Melur area over the years. Inside, you will hear the sound of carts being pushed down the halls and people talking in the corridors. It is a bit noisy, but that is just how hospitals are. The staff stays busy checking charts and making sure everyone gets their medicine on time. We do not have a lot of fancy decorations, just the basics that are needed to take care of patients. Outside, the traffic on Alagarkovil Road never seems to stop, especially during the day. We have some benches for visitors to sit on while they wait for news or visiting hours. It is hard work and the shifts are long, but it is what we do. We try to keep the floors swept and the rooms as comfortable as they can be given the circumstances. People from all over the local area end up here eventually when they are not feeling well and need help.
