R Mathankumar is the name on the door, and we are based in Theni, right here in Tamilnadu. Theni is a beautiful area, surrounded by hills and a lot of greenery. Our place is simple and doesn’t have a fancy door number that’s easy to explain to outsiders on the first try, but the locals know where we are. It’s a quiet spot for the most part, except when the local buses go past. We don't have a big staff or a multi-story building. It’s just a functional space where we handle our daily business. The floor is concrete and the walls have a few marks on them from moving furniture around over the years. We don't worry too much about the aesthetics because that's not what's important for the work we do. The air here is fresh, and we usually keep the windows open instead of using air conditioning. It makes the place feel more connected to the outside world. My routine involves coming in early, checking the mail, and getting started on the tasks for the day. There’s no rush to be the biggest company in the world. We just want to do our part and go home to our families in the evening. People around here are friendly and we often stop to talk to the shopkeepers next door. It’s a decent way to earn a living without all the stress of a big city lifestyle.
