Quality Control

This is just a small setup here in the New Railway Colony in Virudhunagar. My name is Pandeeswari and I handle the work from our family home. It’s a simple place, 94/B, where we’ve lived for many years. My father, Karuppiah, is well known around here. The work involves a lot of checking and making sure things are up to the right standard. It’s not a big factory or a grand office, just a desk in the corner of the house where I keep all my records. Sometimes the neighbors wonder what I’m doing with all my instruments and papers, but it’s just my way of making a living. I take the work quite seriously because people rely on these checks. I don’t have a team of people working for me. It’s just me doing the inspections and writing down the results. The railway colony is a good place to live, quite peaceful most of the time except when the trains go by. I’ve lived here a long time and everyone knows where to find me if they have questions. It’s a small-scale operation, but it keeps me busy from morning till night. I don’t have a lot of fancy equipment, just what is necessary to do the job right. It’s a modest life and I’m quite content with how things are going. I hope to keep doing this for a long time as it helps everyone stay safe.
