Star Fashion Studio

We are located at No 47 Matha Koil 2nd Street in K. Pudur. If you know the area, it’s a fairly busy neighborhood with houses and small shops mixed together. The studio is right there on the 2nd street, and you can usually see us working through the windows if you walk past. We do a lot of sewing and cutting here every single day. The floor is usually covered in small scraps of cloth and bits of thread that the broom misses. It’s a bit of a climb to get everything organized, but we manage. The street outside can get a bit noisy when the school nearby lets out, but otherwise, it's just the usual sounds of the city. We have a couple of old tables where we lay out the patterns. They are a bit scratched up from years of use, but they work fine for us. We don’t have fancy air conditioning, just a few ceiling fans that hum all day long. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps during our break just to get some air. Most of the people who come here are from the nearby streets. We’ve known some of them for years. It’s a very local kind of place. We don't really do much in the way of decoration, we just focus on the garments we are making. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until late evening when we turn off the machines.
