Project Coordinator

I work out of Rajesh Mahal on Bharathi Ula Road. It’s right near Race Course Road in Madurai, so it’s a pretty well-known spot. My office is in H-2. Being a project coordinator means I am the one who usually has to make sure everyone is doing what they are supposed to. It can be a bit like herding cats sometimes. I spend a lot of time on the phone and checking my emails. The building is an older one, but it has character. I like being in this part of Madurai because it’s easy for people to find me. There isn't any corporate polish here. It’s just my desk, a couple of chairs, and a lot of folders. I try to keep things moving so that projects don't get stuck. Sometimes I have to be a bit firm to get things done, but that is just the nature of the job. I don't go in for fancy mission statements or anything like that. I just want the work to be finished on time. It's a lot of small details that add up. I usually have a fan going because it gets warm in the afternoon. People stop by to drop off papers and we have a quick chat before I get back to the screen. It’s a busy life but I enjoy it. I make sure the schedules are met and the supplies arrive where they need to go.
