Penguin Apparels Private Limited is located at No. 2 Meenakshi Nagar. We are right off the G.S.T Road in the Pasumalai section of Madurai. Being so close to the main road is helpful for getting things delivered. Our workspace is basically one large hall with a lot of fans to deal with the Madurai heat. It is not the most modern building, but it gives us the room we need to set up our machines. We have got a team of people who have been doing this for years. Most of them walk or bike here from their homes in Pasumalai. We do not have a big office or a place for meetings. Usually, if we need to talk about something, we just stand around one of the cutting tables. There is always a lot of noise from the machines and people chatting while they work. We do not use any fancy language to describe what we do. We just make clothes and try to do a decent job of it. Sometimes a machine breaks down or we run out of a certain color of thread, and we just have to figure it out as we go. It is a basic operation without any frills. We appreciate being part of the local community here and just want to keep things running smoothly for everyone who works with us. (246 words)
