Avitas Home Textile

Avitas Home Textile is located at No. 42 on Old Kuyavarpalayam Road. It's an old part of town with a lot of history and narrow streets. We’ve been here for quite some time now, working out of this building. It’s a practical space where we deal with all sorts of home fabrics, like curtains and bed covers. The front of the building is nothing special, just a regular door that we leave open for a breeze. Inside, it’s mostly storage and a few tables for cutting. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who have lived in this area most of our lives. Most of our customers are people who have been coming to us for years. We don't use any high-tech systems, just some basic tools and a lot of manual labor. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we usually keep the fans running full blast. The floor is often covered in loose threads and bits of cotton. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a shiny showroom. We just provide what people ask for and try to keep the prices fair. It’s a quiet business, and we like it that way. On rainy days, the roof leaks a little in the corner, but we just move the stock out of the way. It’s just how things are in an old building like this. We keep working regardless of the small inconveniences that pop up.
