Glee Worlds Store

You can find our store, Glee Worlds, over on Workshop Road in Poondhotam. We are right near Hotel Dew, which is a big landmark around here. It’s a simple shop on a busy enough street. We have a variety of things on the shelves. It’s not one of those modern stores with bright lights and music. We just have some fluorescent bulbs and a tiled floor. There is usually a bit of dust because of the road work outside. We spend the day tidying up the items and talking to the people who walk in. Most of our customers are locals from the Poondhotam neighborhood. They come in for a chat as much as they do for shopping. We have a small desk at the back where we keep the books. The shop stays quite cool in the morning but gets warm by the afternoon. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us helping out. Sometimes the delivery truck blocks the entrance for a few minutes while we unload new stock. It’s just a regular part of the day. We like being near the hotel because it brings in people who are just passing through town. They usually look for something small to take with them. We keep things simple and just focus on being open every day. The fan in the corner makes a clicking noise, but we just ignore it now.
