Nive Tours & Travels

You can find us over at No 4/401 B in the Nagamalaipudhukottai area of Madurai. We are right near the Flour Mill Stop, which is where most people get off the bus to come see us. At Nive Tours & Travels, we handle a lot of the local travel needs for people in this part of the city. It’s a bit away from the very center, so it feels a little different here. The smell from the flour mill nearby is something we are very used to by now. Our office isn’t anything special to look at, just a place with a few maps and a lot of notebooks. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to drivers and checking on where the buses are. People from the neighborhood stop by to book trips for their families or for work. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us and the computer, trying to make sure everyone gets a fair price and a reliable ride. The traffic near the stop can be a bit much in the mornings, but it quietens down later on. We have been doing this for a while and we know the roads around Madurai pretty well. If someone asks for a way to get to the other side of the state, we usually have an answer. It’s just honest work in a busy part of town. We stay open late most nights to help out folks.
