Neeraj Granites

We are located out in Shenkottai Village, near the Kalimangalam Post. Our place is on Sivaganga Road, marked as 28/4-B. It's a bit of a drive from the main city, but this is where the stone is. Neeraj Granites is basically a yard full of big rocks and cutting machines. It gets very loud when the saws are running. There is red dust everywhere most of the time. We aren't a big company with suits and meetings. It’s just a group of us working under the tin sheds. We move heavy slabs with the crane and check for cracks. The village is quiet otherwise, but our yard stays busy. You can see the piles of granite from the road. We don't have a proper office building, just a small cabin with a desk and a fan where we keep the books. Sometimes the rain makes the yard muddy, and we have to wait for it to dry before we can move the trucks. We deal with builders and people looking for stone for their houses. It’s hard work and our hands are always rough. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks. People just know us from being here on Sivaganga Road for so many years. If you come by, you'll see us in our work clothes, probably covered in some grey slurry from the polishing water. It's just how we do things here.
