Mohan Earthmovers is situated at No 665 on the Madurai Road in Thirumangalam. If you’ve ever driven down toward Madurai, you’ve probably passed right by us. We have our equipment sitting out where everyone can see it from the road. The traffic is always moving fast out there, and the air is full of diesel fumes most of the time. We handle different kinds of earthmoving tasks for construction and farming around here. It’s a hot place to work, especially in the middle of the day when the sun is beating down on the metal machines. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles. We just focus on keeping the JCBs and other gear running. Sometimes a machine will have a leak and we spend the whole afternoon trying to fix a hose. It’s not always easy, but it’s what we do. The office is small and usually has a few people sitting around talking about the day's work. We know most of the other business owners along the road. Thirumangalam is a busy hub, so there is always someone needing something moved or dug up. We just try to be reliable and show up when we say we will. It’s a simple business built on hard work and getting our hands dirty every single day. We don't mind the long hours as long as the work keeps coming in and the engines stay healthy.
