Meenatchi Aquatic Private Limited

We run Meenatchi Aquatic Private Limited from No.6 Selvam Nagar. It’s right off Medical College Road. If you know the area, it’s fairly easy to find. We mostly deal with aquatic stuff, fish and the supplies needed for them. The place usually has a few tanks running and there’s always the sound of water pumps in the background. It’s a bit humid inside sometimes because of all the water, but that is part of the job. We aren’t some big chain store. We are just a local business trying to make things work in Selvam Nagar. Most of our day is spent cleaning tanks, checking on the fish, and making sure the water temperature is just right. It’s a lot more work than people think. You can't just leave it for a day. We’ve had some tough times when the power goes out, but we have some backups to keep things moving. We don't have a fancy showroom. It's more of a workspace where we keep everything healthy. The people who come by are usually locals or people from the nearby hospital area. We keep things pretty straightforward. There's no script for when we talk to people, we just tell them what we know about the fish we have. It’s a quiet life mostly, just us and the tanks. We’ve been here for a while and don't plan on moving anytime soon.
