Meenakshi Mission Hospital

Meenakshi Mission Hospital has been sitting here in the Lake Area for a long time now. You can’t really miss it if you’re coming from the Melur Road side, right near the Mattuthavani Bus Stand. It gets pretty crowded around that area, but most folks know their way to us easily enough. We’ve got a lot of people coming in and out every day. Some are just here for a quick checkup, others are staying longer. The building is big, and there’s always something going on in the hallways. Sometimes it feels like a small city inside. We try to keep things moving as best as we can. Most of the staff live nearby, so we see neighbors and friends coming through the doors all the time. It’s a busy spot, especially with the bus stand so close. People travel from all over the district to get here. We have different departments for just about everything you’d need. There’s a lot of equipment and machines that hum away in the background. It isn’t always quiet, but it’s where we do our work. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but the hospital stays pretty much the same. We just keep doing what we do, day in and day out. It’s hard work, and the days are long, but this is where we are. If you’re looking for us, just head towards the bus stand and look for the signs.
