Over on Lake Area Mallur Road, you’ll find Meenakshi Mission Hospital &Amp; Research Center. It’s a big spot that people around here rely on quite a bit. The road can be a bit bumpy sometimes, but everyone knows the way. We have a lot of different departments spread out across the floors. You might come in for one thing and end up seeing a couple of different specialists. It’s a busy environment. There are always people in the lobby, checking in or waiting for news. We have a lot of equipment for doing scans and tests, and those rooms are usually humming with activity. The staff here are hardworking folks. Some have been here since they were young. We have a cafeteria where people take their breaks and talk about their day. It’s not a fancy place, but it gets the job done. We deal with everything from small scrapes to much bigger health problems. The research center part means we are always looking at data and trying to understand things better. It adds a bit of a school-like feel to some of the wings. People in the Lake Area know us well. We’ve been a fixture on Mallur Road for a long time.
