Meenachi Mission Hospital

Meenachi Mission Hospital is located in the Lake Area on Melur Road. It is a nice enough part of town, and having the lake nearby is a good landmark for people trying to find us. Melur Road itself is a busy stretch with lots of buses and trucks moving through all day. The hospital building has been around for quite a few years now. You can see it’s been well-used, but it still stands solid. Inside, we have a good amount of space for people to wait. It can get pretty warm in the afternoons, so we keep the ceiling fans going as much as possible to keep the air moving. Our staff comes from all over this local area, and we have all settled into the daily routine of the place. We handle all kinds of things here, from small injuries to more serious health matters. It isn’t a high-tech looking facility, just a standard hospital with plain walls and that typical medicine smell. We don’t have any big marketing teams or glossy brochures to hand out. Most of our patients are people from the surrounding neighborhoods who have known about us for years. You might see some of the staff chatting near the front gate during a shift change. We just focus on the daily tasks and making sure the hospital stays open and running for the community.
