Mano Eye Hospital

Mano Eye Hospital is situated in Anna Nagar, right near the Anna Bus Stand. Being so close to the bus stand means there are always people moving around outside, and it’s a very easy place to find if you’re coming in from another part of town. The hospital focuses on eyes, so we see a lot of people coming in for checkups or because they can't see as well as they used to. The building is a standard size for this area. Inside, we have the chairs for waiting and the rooms where the eye exams happen. It’s a bit noisy because of the buses, but we’ve gotten used to the sound of the engines and the horns over the years. The staff is pretty small, and we’ve all been working together for a while now. We don’t have any fancy displays or high-end decor. It’s just a place to get your eyes looked at. People from all over Anna Nagar come through our doors. Some are just passing through the bus stand and decide to stop in. We keep things pretty simple. There’s no big mission statement on the wall, just the charts for reading letters. We do our jobs, help people with their glasses or whatever else they need, and that’s about it. It’s a practical, local hospital that serves the community right where the buses stop and the busy streets meet in Anna Nagar.
