You can find us at Number 14 on the Vaithiyanatha Puram main road here in Madurai. Being on the main road makes it pretty easy for people to reach us, whether they are walking or coming on a bike. We have been operating this chit fund business from this location for some time now. The office is just a ground floor space where we keep our files and meet with the members. It isn't a very large area, but we have organized it so there is space for people to sit down and talk. We do all the work ourselves, from writing out the receipts to explaining how the different chit groups are currently doing. The noise from the main road is always there in the background, but we are used to it by now. It feels like a real part of the city life. We don't have any flashy signs or expensive furniture inside. It is just desks, chairs, and cupboards full of records. Most of our members are from around this area, so we see the same people every month. It is nice to have that kind of familiarity with everyone. We just focus on getting the daily tasks done and making sure the money is handled correctly for every single person who trusts us with their savings in this little corner of Madurai. There is always a lot to do but we enjoy being here and helping our neighbors out with their groups.
