We are located down in Thirumangalam, which is part of the Madurai district. M M Forgings Limited has its spot on Veeranan Lane, specifically at 17 A on South Street. It is a bit of an old area, but it works fine for us. Working with metal and forgings is loud and hot work, especially in this part of Tamil Nadu where the sun is usually beating down on the roof. We spend our days around the machines and the heat. It is not the kind of job where you wear a clean suit every day. Most of us go home with some grease or dirt on our clothes. That is just the nature of the business. We have been in this lane for a long time. People around here know the sound of the shop. We do not have a fancy reception area with coffee machines. Usually, if someone comes by, they just find us on the floor or in the small office space we use for paperwork. Madurai is a big place, but Thirumangalam feels a bit more like home to us. We just focus on getting the pieces made right. Sometimes a machine breaks down or a delivery is late, and we just have to deal with it as it comes. No one here is a big executive. We are just local people who know how to work the metal. It is a steady rhythm that we have gotten used to over the years.
